Meet at the Hotel lobby and proceed to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia′s Natural Heritage site.  Journey will take approximately 2 hours passing by villages, paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker Range.

A brief stop over at Nabalu, whereby a collection of native stalls selling local fruits, vegetables, local products and handicrafts will be discovered.  An opportunity to observe the local stalls activities.

Arrive at Poring Hot Spring, located approximately 47km from Kinabalu Park.  Poring Hot Spring was named after a tall bamboo plant that was abundant in that area, a natural spring where hot sulphurous water emits from the ground.  There are Japanese Baths where visitors can soak themselves and let the invigorating sulphurous water stimulate their body.  Visitors can also try the canopy walkway, where suspension bridges are suspended at the top of the canopy for visitors to walk among the canopy of a tropical jungle

Depart for lunch at Mountain Restaurant.  After lunch, depart to Kinabalu Park, enjoy the cool and refreshing mountain air, if the day is clearer; majestic view of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia can be experienced by the climbers.  Proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails with the park naturalist.  While walking, listen to the sounds of the jungle and observe nature′s plants, trees, orchids and butterflies.  Kinabalu Park boasts an estimate of 4,500 species of plants, which includes 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of that are endemic to Kinabalu.  The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies.

Depart from Kinabalu Park to Kota Kinabalu.  On arrival, transfer to your Hotel.  End of Services.

0730 hrs - Pick up from your Hotel and depart on road for Kudat, where it is a mere 2 hours 30 minutes drive through picturesque countryside.  Kudat lies on the Northern most tip of Sabah and is the home of the Rungus tribe.  A visit to the longhouse at Kg. Bavanggazo, Matunggong will give you an insight of the well-preserved traditions and conservative lifestyle.

Built in April 1992 as a pioneer project to preserve the Rungus culture, the longhouse showcases the concept of communal living and sharing, all under one roof.  The longhouse comprises a several small apartments each containing a raised sleeping area and living space with a hearth used also for dining.  A longhouse usually begins as a single apartment built by father.  When children grow and start their own families, they ass literally similar apartments to their father’s unit, thus creating a long house.  A stay at the longhouse is the best way to witness, enjoy and experience the unique lifestyle of the Rungus tribe.  Lunch at a local restaurant before proceed back to Kota Kinabalu.

Alternatively, you may also visit Tanjung Simpang Mengayau.  Dubbed as the Tip of Borneo.  Located Northern tip of Borneo, Kudat is the first capital of Sabah.  This popular spot is 50KM or 30 minutes drive by car from Kudat Township.  A journey to this historical town will take you through picturesque scenes, Kudat’s beautiful white sandy beaches stretch for miles and its sunset are simply breathtaking!  When you are at Simpang Mengayau, you will not only pride yourselves on setting your foot on the northern most tip of Borneo, but it is also where you can view South China Sea and meeting up with the Sulu Sea.  It will definitely be a satisfying break for you and your family as Kudat has so much to offer!  End of Service.

Are you an advance peddler? Aged from 12 to 55 years old and are physically fit? Fantastic! This is the right river for you to test your skills…

Uhmm…beginners? Attempting Padas River? Yeah, sure why not? Just ′paddle′ on and follow the safety instructions please…

Padas River is situated in the interior of southern part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train (used since the late 19th century in Borneo). Basically, this trip will give you two experiences advantages – (1) Excursion of Class III-IV river, (2) A ride in an antique train in this new millennium.

The adrenaline rush excursion covers a distance of 9km of this rather muddy 200km river that holds 7 exciting and tough rapids!

These rapids carries amusing names such as Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid and Head Hunter Rapid.  Each rapid will give you the feel of the motion as what the name means.

The journey will first take 1½ hours overland through the countryside to Beaufort town.  From there upon, adventure begins with the 1½ hours train rides tracks along the Padas River that gives glimpses of the thrills and excitement to come.  Upon arriving at the Starting Point, participant will be given safety briefing before going down the river.

The ultimate challenge will speak for itself as one shoots through and experiences the nerve tingling excitement which crescendos rapid after rapid while getting a closer look at the Borneo′s amazing flora and fauna.
After rafting, enjoy a sumptuous barbecue lunch by the river.  Wind down with a sunset view of the return journey to Kota Kinabalu, along with presentation of certification of achievement.

Adventure Schedule :

• At 0630 to 0800 hrs, transfer you from hotel to Beaufort Railway Station arrive by 0930 hrs (distance of 90km)
• Upon arrival, on board train for Pangi Station (39km). Journey will take at least 2 hrs.
• Arrive Pangi.  Light refreshment will be served.  Safety briefing by event leader. Rafting commence.
• Arrive at Rayoh Station.  BBQ lunch will be served.
• On board the train to Beaufort Railway Station.

Kiulu River is classified in river grading scale as Class I-II river - suitable for beginners aged 5 years old to 65 years old that craves for mild adventure and an assurance that will safely enjoy this white water rafting trip.

Kiulu River is located on the north-eastern part of Sabah, recognized as being the second most beautiful village in Malaysia that promises glimpses of thrills and excitement to come.

Excursions begins with a safety briefing session conducted by our professional raft guide along with a demonstration of rafting techniques and proper handling of rafting equipment before rafting commences.

This trip covers up to 15km of river excursion making it the longest white water rafting trip in Borneo.  The journey will take about 1 - 2 hrs of rafting before reaching the ending point where delicious barbecue lunch prepared in variety of choices to fulfil your hunger.

That′s not all about Kiulu! You have the chance to let yourself be enthralled with the pristine breathtaking surroundings until it′s time to go back to your respective hotels.

Tour Schedule :

• Pick up starts from 0800 to 1000 hrs, depending on your hotel location and it takes 1 – 2 hrs drive to Tamparuli District/area.
• Arrive at Starting Point. Change clothes/apply sun block lotion, leave personal belongings the officer-in-charge.
• Participant will be provided mineral water before excursions.  The river guide will give safety briefing for about 10 – 15 minutes right after all participants are equipped with helmet, life jacket and paddles.
• After completion of safety briefing, all participants would start rafting that covers 9km of Kiulu River, which takes 1 – 2 hrs to the Ending Point.
• Upon arrival at the Ending Point, change clothes and have lunch while enjoying the photographs taken during the rafting (Photographs will be taken only if there is more than 20 participants for that particular day).
• After 1 – 2 hrs of free at leisure, participants will depart for Kota Kinabalu or the Hotels that takes 1 – 2 hrs of drive.
• Adventure will end roughly around 1600 hrs.
   

Meet at the Hotel lobby and depart for Kota Klias, located approximately 112km from Kota Kinabalu.  The journey will pass by small towns, paddy fields and villages.

Arrive at Kota Klias Jetty, local tea/coffee and cakes will be served to guests.

Aboard on boat for river cruise to search for the odd nosed monkeys of Borneo - the Proboscis Monkeys.  On this cruise, an opportunity to learn the traditional method of catching fish and prawns will be experienced by guests.  Not forgetting the wildlife too.  When darkness sets in, on the return journey to the jetty, witness the nature′s display of Christmas lights - the fireflies.

Arrive at the jetty for a hearty dinner overlooking the Klias River.

After dinner, depart for Kota Kinabalu and transfer back to your respective Hotels.

On arrival at the jetty, board on boat for a 20 minutes ride to the beautiful Sapi Island off the city of Kota Kinabalu.

There are also trails for short nature walk.
Other optional activities on this island are Banana Boat Rides, Para Sailing, Canoeing and Windsurfing.

Depart from Manukan Island for Kota Kinabalu town.
Arrive at Kota Kinabalu jetty and transfer back to the Hotel.

Depart Kota Kinabalu town to Tenom town, a journey that will take approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.  Enroutes the road will traverse along the Crocker Range and villages.  Arrive in Tenom town, transfer to the Tenom Agricultural Park, which will take approximately 25 minutes.  Register at the entrance and proceed for a visit at this agricultural park.

Officially launched in March 25, 2001 by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the park showcase Sabah′s rich agricultural heritage.  These 1,500 acres beautifully landscaped park showcase an amazing collection of the most unique plants from the fragrant to the rare and exotic Borneo orchids.  Known as “Garden of Learning”, it offers educational and recreational activities to anyone who is willing to learn more about local agriculture.  Here, you can discover the magic of the tropics from the evolution of plants to today′s incredible diversity of native and introduced species.

The park is divided to (7) sections namely as follow :-

1. Ornamental Gardens - 21 gardens settings and plants such as the Bougainvillea Court, Ixora Garden, Hibiscus Garden, Cactus Garden and Shrub Garden.
2. Evolution Gardens,
3. Hoya Garden - 25 types of Hoya or “wax Plant”,
4. Bee Centre,
5. Germplasm Collection - Collection of 100 species of ginger, bamboo and palm,

Depart the park for Tenom town, head towards a local restaurant for lunch.  After lunch, proceed to the Tenom Coffee Factory to visit our famous “Tenom Coffee”; where everyone gets coffee testing that will let you have a chance to drink all of our famous coffee products.  Proceed back to Kota Kinabalu Town.  End of Services.

• Meet at designated point and transfer to the jetty to board on boat for transfer to Selingan Turtle Island.  Journey will be approximately 1 hour.
• Upon arrival, register at the reception and check in to the chalet.
• Lunch at the cafeteria.
• Meet at the cafeteria for dinner, whilst waiting for the park ranger to signal for turtle watching.  Overnight at the chalet.
• Observe the whole activities of the turtle laying eggs and covering the holes, tagging of the turtle by the park ranger and the transferring of the eggs to the hatchery.
• If there are young turtle hatchlings, an opportunity to observe the hatchlings being released to the sea will be experienced.

Depart from the jetty around 1730 hours.  Along the way, you can see combinations of five islands namely the Mamutik Island, Sulug Island, Manukan Island, Sapi Island and Gaya Island.

The Romantics, the nature lovers & those who simply want to relax in perfect surroundings.  Experience one and a half hours trip cruising around the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park Islands and enjoy the Sunset view as you gaze in amazement at the beauty and serenity of your surroundings whilst enjoying a glass of wine.

 

0700 hrs  -  Depart from  Jetty to our Deep Sea Fishing Areas which are Mengalun/ Mantanani etc.  Along the way, you can enjoy exciting trolling  fishing for Barracuda/ Wahoo/ Marlin etc and many more upper water level predators.  Bottom fishing will start upon arrival at the deep sea area. 

On boat, lunch will be served at lunch time. 

1500 hrs, depart from deep sea area and back to Sutera Harbour Jetty.

0930 hrs  -  Depart from Sutera Harbour Jetty to our Shallow Sea Fishing Areas which are around Sapi/Manukan island etc. 

Along the way, you will pass by all island of  Tunku Abdul Rahman Park & you will have the opportunity to snap some photograph.

Bottom fishing will start upon arrival at the shallow sea area.  On boat,pack lunch will be served at lunch time. 

1200 hrs - depart from shallow sea area and back to Sutera Harbour Jetty.

Day 1 - Selingan Turtle Island

• Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport or at Hotel lobby.
• Proceed to Sandakan Town and transfer to the jetty for a boat ride to Selingan Island (Turtle Island Park),  (approximately take 1 hour 30 minutes).
• On arrival, check in the chalets, then free at leisure to swim or snorkel in the Sulu Sea. 
• 1800 hrs, meet up at the cafeteria for dinner and wait for the Park Ranger’s signals for watch the turtles.
• Observe the process of checking or tagging the turtles and the transferring of eggs to the hatchery.
• If there is any young hatchling at the nursery, there will be an opportunity to witness the release of young turtles to the sea.

Day 2 - Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre & Kinabatangan River

• After breakfast, depart Turtle Island for Sandakan Town. 
• Meet on arrival and proceed to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. 
• At the centre, observe man’s closest animal relatives being rehabilitated to become wild in the forest. 
• 1000hrs - Witness the feeding of the Orang Utans.
• Depart Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre for the Village of Sukau, (approximately take 2½ hours).
• On arrival, board on boat for a 5 minutes journey to the lodge.
• Check in at the lodge and have lunch at the cafeteria. 
• In the evening, proceed for a river cruise along the Menanggol River to search for wildlife, notably the odd nosed monkeys of Borneo - The Proboscis Monkeys.
• Return to the lodge at sundown.
• Dinner and stay overnight at Riverside Lodge.

Day 3 - Gomantong Cave & Sandakan City

• After breakfast, depart for Sandakan Town, enroute stop at the Gomantong Cave.

• After lunch, proceed for the Sandakan City explore; which includes visit to the Sim-Sim Water Village, St. Michael Church, All Angel’s Church and the Puu Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple.

Day 1 - SEPILOK ORANG UTAN CENTRE / KINABATANGAN, SUKAU

• Arriving by MH2042, proceed for approximately 30 minutes to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.
• proceed to the free roaming area and the feeding platform.
• 1000hrs, it is time to feed the Orang Utans.
• At this centre, observe man’s closest relative “The Orang Utan”, being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo.
• 1100hrs, you will depart Sepilok and transfer to the jetty in Sandakan. 
• 1145 hrs, take an hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary & take lunch at Abai Village.  This is a wonderful journey of discovery, which starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town; passing through magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest.
• After lunch, cruise up the river to Sukau Village, in search of primates especially the Endemic Proboscis Monkey, birds and other wildlife.  Arrive at Sukau, you will check in at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge in the late afternoon. 
• an option to take another river cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and stay an overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

Day 2 - OXBOW LAKE / PM RIVER CRUISE / SUKAU

• Early AM, wakes up by the calls of gibbons and hornbills.
• Take a river trip to the Ox Bow Lake to observe wildlife and experience the early morning river ambience of the longest river of Sabah.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast then free at own leisure.
• After lunch in the late afternoon, you will experience another river cruise to search for more wildlife.
• Dinner and stay over night at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

Day 3 - TRANSFER OUT BY BOAT / SANDAKAN CITY EXPLORER

• After breakfast, cruise down the river by boat back to Sandakan.
• Another chance for wildlife sightings with this approximately 2.5 hrs journey.
• Upon arrival at the jetty, visit the Water Village to see houses on stilt above water; occupied by native tribes and the Central Market.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 1 - SEPILOK / BY BOAT TO SUKAU

• 0830hrs - Pick up from Hotel in Sandakan or meet up upon arrival at the Sandakan Airport.
• Drive for approximately 30 minutes to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.
• Proceed to the free roaming area and the feeding platform.
• You can witness the feeding of Orang Utans at 1000 hrs.
• At this centre, observe man’s closest relative -  “The Orang Utan” being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo.
• 1100hrs, depart Sepilok Orang Hutan Rehabilitation Centre and transfer to the jetty in Sandakan.
• 1145hrs - Take an hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary,  where you will have your lunch at Abai Village.  This is a wonderful journey of discovery that starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town through magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest.
• After lunch, cruise up the river to Sukau Village; in search of primates especially the Endemic Proboscis Monkey, birds and other wildlife.
• Arrive at Sukau, check in at the Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.
• Late afternoon, an option to take another river cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan.
• Return back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

Day 2 - FROM SUKAU BY BOAT / SANDAKAN CITY EXPLORER

• After breakfast, cruise down the river by boat back to Sandakan.  Another chance for wildlife sightings with this approximately 2.5 hrs journey. 
• Upon arrival at the jetty, visit the Water Village to see houses on stilt above water occupied by native tribes and the Central Market.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• After lunch, drive up hill to the Puu Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which offers a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay.
• 1400 hrs, transfer to the Airport or Hotel.

Day 1 - Kuala Penyu / By Boat To Survivor Island (Pulau Tiga)

• 0800hrs - Pick up from Hotel in KK
• proceed for approximately 1 ½ hrs to reach Kuala Penyu Town Pulau Tiga Jetty & continue 45 minute boat ride to reach the famous “Survivor Island” This island is one of the most visited island in Sabah.The island also has a few mud volcano where you can cool off and have a “Survivor Style” mud bath! Or you can go diving and discover the island’s dazzling underwater haven. For those who crave more adventure, be sure to visit the mysteries “Snake Island ”, one of the unique attraction around Survivor Island. If you are looking for something to suit your romantic mood, you will definitely love the sunset of “ Survivor Island”

Day 2 - Survivor Island / Snake Island / Klias River Cruise / Proboscis Monkey & Fire Flies Watching.

• After breakfast, free at leisure till noon time
• proceed explore to the “Snake Island” ,close touch with the famous “Sea Snake” definitely be something you remember forever! 
• 1400 depart from the island to Kuala Penyu Town, have a short visit in the town
• continue journey to our Klias Wild Mangrove area to proceed Mangrove Cruise to search for our Wildman in the jungle “Proboscis Monkey” & other wildlife in the mangrove area.
• When night fall , another attraction in mangrove will appear, that is our romantic “Fire Flies” thousand of  shinning little light in the jungle will light up your romantic mood.
• A very special Mangrove style dinner will serve you when you return to the jetty of Klias.
• After dinner proceed back to KK town
